Jon and Tracy have been Brown County residents for all of their adult lives. They are high school sweethearts, they both graduated from Brown County High School in 1989. They both graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013 with two degrees: Associate of Science (Christian Ministries) and Bachelor of Science (Biblical Studies)
They have been married for 30 years and have two daughters, Jordan Frazier and Joslynn Lucas. Jon and Tracy enjoy their three grandchildren as much as they possibly can. They have two grandsons Noah and Keagan and a granddaughter Eliot. If you haven't met them already you will find them as happy as can be running around the church.
Tracy's calling and passion is to teach God's Word to all ages. Teaching them the Biblical Truths of God's Word on a level that they can understand and apply. Tracy's life verse is Romans 12:1-2
Jon's calling and passion is to preach God's Biblical Truth and to love and serve the families that God has assembled here at COTL. Jon's life verse is Colossians 3:23-24
Caleb Tworek was born Trafalgar, Indiana. He is a graduate from Indian Creek High School in 2011. He went Taylor University for two years and finished his schooling at Cincinnati Christian University, graduating with a B.S. in Youth Ministry. After he finished schooling he worked for a year in student ministry gaining valuable experience before deciding to continue his education at Johnson University to gain his M.S.M in Strategic Ministry. He is married to Jenna Tworek also of Trafalgar. They have been married for two years.
Caleb is passionate about working with students to develop a stronger faith and connect them closer to Jesus in their walk. Student ministry is about growing a community of young believers together. Student ministry is more than just connecting students to Jesus, it has to be about the family and connecting them closer to Christ as well.
Caleb’s life verse is 1 John 2:6 “Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as a Jesus did”
About our Children's Minister:
Kathy Fairchild has worked with children for many years, both in the public school system and through church programs. Several years ago when her children were young, Kathy served as a volunteer Sunday school teacher, the Ministry Assistant and Children's Minister at Church of the Lakes. Kathy and her husband, Mel, have two grown children, Jonathan and Annie. Annie and her husband, Christian, have two children Mason and Maylee. Kathy and Mel are residents of Morgan County.
Kathy believes that children are a precious gift from God and at Church of the Lakes children are a big part of who we are as a church. She knows the difficulties parents face raising Godly children today and is committed to helping provide our children with a solid, Christ-centered, Biblical foundation, giving them every chance to live Christ centered lives.
Kathy's life verse is, "Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand..." Jeremiah 18:6b
