Jon & Tracy Lucas
Senior Pastor & Children's Minister
Jon and Tracy have been Brown County residents for all of their adult lives. They are high school sweethearts, they both graduated from Brown County High School in 1989. They both graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013 with two degrees: Associate of Science in Christian Ministries and Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies.
They have been married for 30+years, have two daughters and several grandchildren who they love spending time with.
Tracy's calling and passion is to teach God's Word to all ages. Teaching them the Biblical Truths of God's Word on a level that they can understand and apply. Tracy's life verse is Romans 12:1-2.
Jon's calling and passion is to preach God's Biblical Truth and to love and serve the families that God has assembled here at COTL.
Jon's life verse is Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
Ministry Assistant, Amy Allen
Amy Allen (pictured with her husband Mark) has served in many ministries at COTL since she started attending in 2005. In 2012 she began volunteering as the Ministry Assistant for the Community Church of Trafalgar (prior to their merger with Church of the Lakes); in 2013 she graduated with a BS in Leadership & Ministry from Cincinnati Christian University. Amy has been on staff as the Ministry Assistant with COTL since 2014 and enjoys working in administration, buildings & grounds, fellowship and serving with the youth group.
Amy's life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; don't rely on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do and He will keep your path straight."
Youth Director, Melody Miller
Meet our Youth Director Melody Miller.
Melody has been attending Church of the Lakes for many years and has served in many roles. In 2023, Melody felt God's nudge and began working as our Youth Director.
Melody is the is wife of Joe, mother to Tyler and Kyley and Grammy to Drew and Rhyen. She loves her animals, especially the horses and loves to paint in her spare time. Her life verse is Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know I am God."
